Top 50 College Baseball Programs since 1975

The countdown is complete and all 50 of the top 50 College Baseball programs since 1975 have been revealed. The list was not without debate and controversy but we did reveal our scoring and ranking methodology earlier in the week.

Here at Cal State Omaha, we put together a ranking of the 50 greatest college baseball programs since 1975 based on a wide variety of factors. Those factors include National Championships, Golden Spikes Award Winners, appearances in the College World Series in Omaha and post-season regional appearances based on the point system below.

Point Breakdown:

National Championship: 10 Points
Golden Spikes Award Winner: 10 Points
Omaha: 5 Points
Super Regional: 3 points
Post-season Regional (1975 – 1998): 2 Points
Post-season Regional (1999 – 2018): 1 Point

We plan to update this list yearly after the completion of the 2019 season using the same scoring method stated above.
